FAQs
Does Pat’s RV do mobile or in shop repairs?
We do some mobile jobs, but mobile jobs are limited to multiple factors including availability, job requirements, size of coach, and accessibility of coach. Mobile appointments are inherently more expensive than bringing it into our shop. By their nature, mobile repairs are difficult without having our shop nearby. we aim to come as prepared as possible and may ask a lot of questions concerning your RV and the issues that you are having.
Important for all mobile requests!
For all mobile repairs, the coach must be on a dry, stable, flat and level surface with room to move all slide outs to the fully extended position, as well as a ladder and working space. If we arrive and there is not room or unsuitable conditions to work on your RV, you will be billed for the first hour of labor. We don’t want to squeeze in between your fence and your neighbors pitbull that is barking and snarling at us while we work, we also do not work in wet sloppy mud, standing water, or on the side of a hill with a ladder hanging for dear life off the side of your coach. If we arrive and there is not suitable conditions to do what we need to do, you will still be billed $320.
I just need an estimate?
Pat’s RV does not provide free written estimates. We typically charge 1 hour of labor for an estimate. We are happy to tell you over the phone prices of other jobs that are similar to what you’re looking to have done over the phone.
how do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment with us by calling us at 734-771-8129. we will get some information from you like name, cell phone number, email, and home address to create your appointment.
How much do you charge?
As of May 2026, our labor rate is $220/hr. Mobile calls are billed at $330 for the first hour and $220 for every hour after.
What about a warranty?
Pat’s RV provides a limited 30 day warranty from the day you received your coach back from us.
How long will repairs take on my RV?
We try to get to your coach as soon as possible, but depending on the nature of your repairs it may take longer. Typical repair time for yearly maintenance items like roof resealing, or smaller repairs generally take less than a week. While more in depth repairs can take longer. sometimes larger jobs have a 2-6 week lead time just for parts to arrive.
My RV is in for repairs but I want to go Camping for the weekend.
It has always been our policy that if we are able to get your coach out of our shop, that you may come get it and go camping and bring it back without loosing your place in line. We may ask for a deposit for parts that are specific to your RV before taking it. But as long as your RV can safely be moved, were not actively working on it, and its not in pieces you are free to take it camping.
